The Seed Garden follows what happens to an astronaut after he crash lands on a remote planet. Oddly he does not survive in the standard sense but survives via a different approach in tune with the local life. From there he begins to explore the planet a bit at a time, eventually finding an infrastructure from an advanced intelligence from time past.The astronaut eventually learns that the planet, or intelligence, has a grand plan for him to assist in their 'seeding', which he embraces in earnest, eventually.
The seed Garden like many of Mr. Moreton other works are an enjoyable tale, and as always a very unique story, this is not a rehash of a commonly used fable, as most book really are. While the story line can be slow at times, it certainly makes for a enjoyable read.

This author took me back to the first delightful science fiction book I read. Lovely reading, with a fine wine.
